INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT
This project is a continuance from the project 1 revit building modeling and documentation.
By using the same building, we have to learn how to use the basic commands at 3ds max, how to insert material texture, how to render object by using NVDIA Mental Ray or V Ray, and learn about the render set up for exterior and interior, and set up the sun, lighting, shadow, etc.
This project involves the production of photorealistic renderings with the material texture, appropriate camera for the perspective view, and the lighting and shadow.
INTRODUCTION TO THE PROJECT PROGRESSIONS
For this project, i use 2 version of 3Ds Max. (2016 & 2018).
For the exterior, i use 3Ds Max 2016 with NVDIA Mental Ray.
Then for the interior i use 3Ds Max 2016 and 3ds Max 2018. For the building material textures, I use in 2016 version, while for the interior rendering i use in 2018 version with V Ray.
(After I dis some interior renderings trial with using NVDIA Mental Ray in 2016 version and V Ray in 2018, I decided to render the interior by using V Ray. However, for the exterior i still use NVDIA Mental Ray in 2016 version because of some consideration that comfirmed already with my tutor.
Then, after I rendered the exterior and interior, I edit more further in photoshopFor exterior, i use photoshop to edit the environments surrounded the building. Then, the interior, i use photoshop to give more lighting effect for the spot light and some adjustment.
